The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is creating difficult and uncertain times for us all. We want to let you know that we are working hard to support YOU and your business needs.
The senior management has worked to define three key priorities for the business in response to the spread of the virus:
Maintain and protect the health and safety of all employees
Ensure business continuity (e.g. using technology to work and replace meetings)
Intensive supply chain monitoring (currently monitoring occurs on a daily basis)
Health and Safety of Employees
The health and wellbeing of our staff is paramount and all of those who can work at home are doing so. This is currently affecting our offices and laboratories. The government has specifically advised that factories can remain open if they are an integral part of an essential supply chain. As such, our Huddersfield production site has been categorised as ‘essential’ and our license to operate currently remains intact.
Wherever we have staff working on our production sites, we are adopting government guidelines on social distancing and hygiene practices.
Business Continuity & Supply Chain
Whilst we are able to control our own operations, we are dependent on suppliers for materials and transport companies to deliver them. In response, we are working diligently across our supply chain to minimise any potential disruptions. Currently, we have not experienced any major disruption in our supply chain.
Whilst we are experiencing the effects of Covid-19 the usual contacts for our sales, supply team, customer support, technical, engineering and marketing services are still available to help you make the most of your timber treatment operations.
We thank all our stakeholders for their cooperation, patience and perseverance in these challenging times. If there is any inspiration to be taken from this crisis it is watching the world come together and galvanise in the fight against this new threat to our safety.
